Apple iOS 5.1 Beta 2 Shows Users Will Soon Be Able To Delete Individual Photos From iCloud Photo Stream

Posted Dec 12, 2011

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has provided developers with iOS 5.1 beta 2. The latest update provides the ability to delete individual photos synced to the iCloud Photo Stream feature. Another addition is pictures automatically being deleted from Photo Stream when they are deleted from the iPhone.

Currently when you take photos with an iOS device, photos are automatically synced with the Photo Stream on iCloud. But if you delete a picture from the iPhone, it is not removed from iCloud. Unfortunately users must remove their entire photo library to remove an individual photo.

Apple iOS 5.1 is known as build 9B5127c. iOS 5.1 beta is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 3S, iPad 2, and the 3rd/4th generation iPod Touch.
