Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been placed at the top of Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list. Apple was placed at the top every year for the last 7 years. The rankings are based on the polling of “corporate peers,” which includes a range of individuals that range from analysts to executives. Other factors include innovation, social aspects, and worker management. Here is who Apple is followed by:

#2 – Amazon

#3 – Google

#4 – Berkshire Hathaway

#5 – Starbucks

#6 – Coca-Cola

#7 – Walt Disney

#8 – FedEx

#9 – Southwest Airlines

#10 – General Electric

Apple scored 7.94 and Amazon scored 7.09. “Apple, the most valuable brand on the planet according to Interbrand, brought in $171 billion in revenues in FY2013 and is flush with cash, but fan boys and girls (not to mention the market) are getting antsy to see its next big product. Bets are on a smartwatch or AppleTV, but the company is also reportedly turning its attention to cars and medical devices,” stated Fortune reporter Erika Fry.
