Apple now owns the iMessage registered trademark. Apple’s newest trademark was officially registered on November 20th. The trademark was first registered in September 2011 according to Patently Apple. Apple iMessage was launched at WWDC in June 2011. iMessage works on iOS and OS X devices. Text and photos can be sent between devices without consuming the data plan. Apple has submitted their fourth Passbook related trademark application. The filing also covers the app’s icon under International Classification 035.
