Apple has started testing a search suggestion feature on the App Store. The related search feature is placed below the search bar.
Let’s say that you search for calendar, it will suggest calendar planners and daily planners. If you search for a news reader, relevant research suggestions would show feed reader and business news. The feature can also recommend specific terms like Twitter.
The results seem to be similar to the way that it worked on Chomp. Chomp is an app search startup that Apple acquired a couple of years ago. Around the time of the acquisition, Apple made changes to the way that iTunes display apps.
