Apple Stores will replace damaged iPhone 5c screens for $149 without a protection plan

Apple Stores are going to start repairing or replacing damaged iPhone 5c screens for a cost of $149 if it is not covered by a protection plan. If a customer scratched or cracked the screen, it can be brought into a local store and have it fixed in under an hour. This process would be easier than having to ship the phone to somewhere else and have it reinstalled with data. Repairs for the iPhone 5s is still being tested and will not be rolled out until later. If you have a damaged iPhone 5c, it is recommend that you check your local Apple store on January 20th.
