Apple Struggling To Get Content Deals For Rumored Apple iTV

It has been rumored that Apple was going to create a TV product for years, until the Apple TV device was revealed.  Several years after the Apple TV was released, an authorized biography of Steve Jobs was published.  In the biography, Jobs said that he had “finally cracked” the difficulties behind entering the LCD TV market.  In order for Apple to launch a TV set, they would have to have important content deals to make it an appealing product for the mass market.

Apple is currently negotiating deals and USA Today has pointed out that Apple has been having problems securing them.  Apple’s goal is believed to be trying to offer a la carte shows from top networks like CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC.  USA Today’s source also mentioned that inside of Jony Ive’s studio is a “slick 50-inch TV” prototype.
