Apple Inc. is preparing to update iCloud so that it would have photo-sharing features according to a source with The Wall Street Journal. The updated iCloud features are expected to be announced at the Apple WorldWide Developer Conference starting on June 11th. iCloud users would be able to share sets of photos with other users and comment on them according to the WSJ’s sources.
As of right now, users can only store one set of photos on iCloud through the Photo Stream software. Photos can be synched, but cannot be shared. Apple is also working on adding the ability to sync personal videos through iCloud. About 125 million people currently use the iCloud service.
