Apple has updated the App Store today with several new features. The new App Store has improved search functionality, app bundles, app previews, and TestFlight. App previews lets developers include a short video next to the app to give a demo of how it works. App bundles let developers offer multiple apps for purchase in one bundled purchase price and download.
Developers can use a new free feature called TestFlight. This feature lets developers offer pre-release beta testing for end users. This makes it easier to find a test audience to discover bugs and report them.
In terms of improving the App Store for consumers, there is a new Explore tab that lets users easily find apps that they are looking for. The App Store also now has Related Searches and Trending Searches.
This update is available immediately for developers and will be available as an update to the general public this fall.
