Apple To Announce Future Of iOS and Mac OS At WWDC

Posted Mar 28, 2011

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) sent out a press release that discusses what they plan to announce at the annual WWDC event. It is unlikely that Apple will release a new iPhone in June as the press release indicates that there will be a focus on the changes in iOS and the Mac OS.

?At this year?s conference we are going to unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS,? stated Apple marketing head Phil Schiller. It is likely that a delayed iPhone 5 announcement could mean that we may see an LTE version released around the same time. With so much speculation and hype about the new iPhone coming out in June, Apple is also letting investors know what to expect as well.
