Netflix will be releasing the Season 4 of “Arrested Development” by next spring according to a spokesperson for the show. A release date is not exact as of yet. There is also a chance that the episode order may grow beyond the 10 installments. If show creator Mitchell Hurwitz has enough material beyond 10 episodes, Netflix will not tell him to stand down.
“I think a lot of people will miss the work that is involved, the story, the Venn diagrams that are being created, the domino effect that characters have with each other in their various episodes,” said David Cross, one of the show’s actors, in an interview with Rolling Stone. “I know what he’s doing, and this has never been done on a TV show like this. This makes Lost look like a Spalding Grey monologue.”
The Season 4 production is currently taking place in Los Angeles. Arrested Development E.P. Ron Howard has been tweeting updates about the show from his Twitter.
