ASUS has announced the new MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10 tablets. These tablets are two mid-range Android devices that come with built in IPS displays, enhanced audio, and quad-core processors. Both of these tablets were announced at IFA earlier this week.
The ASUS MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A) has an IPS LED-backlit 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800. It also has enhanced audio SonicMaster audio technology.
The MeMO Pad 10 has a 10-inch IPS display and 1280×800 resolution. It also has SonicMaster audio technology.
The MeMO Pad 8 has a 5-megapixel rear camera and the Pad 10 has a 2-megapixel camera. These cameras can record at 720pHD. Both tablets have a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front. The two tablets also have a 1.6GHz quad-core processor.
The Pad 8 has 9 hours of battery life with HD video playback and the 10-inch tablet has around 9.5 hours. The Pad 8 is offered with 8GB of storage on-board and the Pad 10 has 8GB and 16GB options. The Pad 8 and Pad 10 has microSDXC expansion slots.
