ASUS has a line of notebooks called VivoBooks. The VivoBook line includes an 11.6-inch and a 14-inch notebook. ASUS now has a 13.3-inch VivoBook for consumers to buy called the ASUS VivoBook S300. The S300 weighs at under 4 lbs. and measures 0.8 inches thick. The S300 will be available in premium and budget versions.
You can buy the S300 in Core i7 Ivy Bridge CPU, Celeron, or Pentium versions. The S300 will have a traditional hard drive (not an SSD). It also includes a 44Whr battery, a VGA port, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, and HDMI. There will be 6 processor options that range from the Celeron 847 ULV to the Core i7-3517U. The four chip options include a Pentium, two Core i3 CPUs, and a Core i5. All of the S300 versions will include 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, an SD card reader, 2GB-4GB of graphics, 320GB hard drive or 500GB hard drive.
The 13.3-inch display will have a resolution of 1366 x 768. The 11.6-inch version of the S300 costs $499, the 14-inch model costs $699, and the 13.3-inch version costs $600.
