AT&T Is Launching A New GoPhone Prepaid Plan

AT&T has announced that they are introducing new plans for their GoPhone prepaid brand on June 21st.  AT&T also announced a new Samsung Galaxy Express smartphone for GoPhone customers.  The Galaxy Express has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card (32GB), 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a price of $249.99.

The new prepaid phone plans are as follows:

– 2GB of data and unlimited calls – $60 per month

– 200MB of data with 500 minutes of calling and unlimited messaging – $40 per month

– 250 voice minutes and unlimited messaging – $25 per month

Users that select the $40 plan can pay $5 and get an extra 100MB of data and users that pick the $25 plan can pay $5 for an extra 50MB of data.

These new plans are going to be made available starting on June 21st.  Currently GoPhone offers $65 per month plans for unlimited voice calls, text messages, and 1GB of data.  Feature phones pay $0.01 for every 5KB of data used.
