Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK), a software corporation that makes engineering, construction, and manufacturing platforms, has acquired Shotgun Software.
Shotgun is the team behind a cloud-based production tracking and asset management solution for video games. Shotgun Software launched in 2006 and is used in film, TV, and game production. Shotgun Software is integrated into tools like Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya.
The exact terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Several weeks ago, Autodesk announced that it has acquired Stockholm-based Bitsquid.
