Baidu Investing $1.6 Billion In New Cloud Computing Center

Baidu, the largest search engine in China, is investing over 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) to set up a cloud computing center.  Baidu CFO Jennifer Li made the investment announcement today.  The company recently unveiled their mobile Internet browser at its annual conference in Beijing.  The cloud computing center will be used for data storage and web processing.
