Sony has announced a new deal with Best Buy to launch a “shop-in-shop” showcase of 4K TVs, 4K cameras, and media players. The mini-stores are called “The Sony Experience at Best Buy.” Trained Sony Experienced Experts will be selected from Best Buy to work at the mini-stores.

?With user-friendly, interactive demonstration experiences and a dedicated team of Best Buy product experts trained to deliver a world-class experience, the Sony Experience at Best Buy will be an ideal place to inspire, engage and educate consumers about Sony?s home theater products,? stated Sony COO Mike Fasulo.

The dedicated Sony stores will showcase Sony?s 4K Ultra HD Media Players, the FMP-X1 and FMP-X10, the FDR-AX100 4K HandyCam, Sony HDTVs, audio media players, the PlayStation 4, and related console accessories.

Sony is not the only mini-store that has retail space in Best Buy stores. Samsung and Apple also have a major presence in Best Buy locations. Samsung’s deal sent products to over 1,400 Best Buy locations in April 2013. Samsung announced today it will be sending its growing lineup for curved 4K LED TVs to a selection of 500 Best Buy locations along with other products.
