Autumn Radtke (pictured on the right), the CEO of a Bitcoin-related startup was found dead near her apartment in Singapore in late February. Radtke, 28, was CEO of virtual currency exchange First Meta. First Meta allows users to buy and sell virtual currencies and exchange national currencies for virtual currencies and vice-versa.
“The First Meta team is shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our friend and CEO Autumn Radtke. Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends and loved ones. Autumn was an inspiration to all of us and she will be sorely missed,” said a note on the First Meta website.
Radtke lived in Singapore since January 2012. One of the final posts on her Facebook was a story about the psychological price of entrepreneurship. The article she posted was from Inc.com and it discussed the internal struggles that startup CEOs dealt with.
A funeral for Radtke took place near her family home in Hales Corners, Wisconsin on Wednesday.
