BlackBerry Partners Fund China Launching With $100 Million To Invest

Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) is partnering with China Broadband Capital Partners to set up a $100 million fund called BlackBerry Partners Fund China. This fund will be used to invest in mobile Internet and mobile cloud companies in China.

China Broadband Capital partners is a venture capital and private equity company that focuses on telecommunications companies. The BlackBerry Partners Fund China will help facilitate the China launch of the BlackBerry App World said RIM China corporate VP and managing director Gregory Shea. [PC World]
