British Airways Brings iPads to Flight Staff

Posted Aug 21, 2011

British Airways is testing a fleet of iPads for its in-flight crews, Mashable reports, replacing stacks of flight information paper and manuals in some of their flights. The iPads have schedules and safety manuals, but also provide the attendants with information about the customers on the flight, like their meal requests, seating assignment and more. The iPads work on the wireless 3G the British Airways flights are equipped with.

British Airways plans to extend the iPad use to all of the airline’s senior crew members.
