Candy Crush Saga was the most downloaded free app for the iPhone and iPad in 2013. This is based on Apple’s Best of iTunes list. Candy Crush Saga was the number one paid app for the iPad, but Minecraft was the number one paid app for the iPhone.

Apple also released the best picks of the year. Beyonce’s new “Beyonce” album was number 2 even though it was released around a week ago. That album is behind Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience.” Macklemore had the top-selling song for “Thrift Shop.” The top selling movie was Skyfall and Breaking Bad was the best selling TV show.

Candy Crush Saga Dreamworld Expansion, the company behind Candy Crush, announced that an expansion called “Dreamworld” has been released. The Dreamworld expansion will only be available for players that crossed level 50 on the Saga map.

Dreamworld has a new character named Odus the Owl. The expansion has dream-like levels and new special effects. There is a new reward called Moon Struck. There are 65 Dreamworld levels available. Dreamworld is available on iOS and Android.
