Canon EOS 60Da Is An Astronomer’s Dream Camera

Canon has announced that the Canon EOS 60Da was catered for “astronomers and hobbyists.” The camera has “modified infrared filter and a low-noise sensor with heightened hydrogen-alpha sensitivity.” It has an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-C), 3-inch Clear View LCD, nine-point autofocus system, and TV-out support. The EOS 60Da also has a Silent Shooting feature, native ISO ceiling of 6,400 (expandable range that hits 12,800), and a RA-E3 remote controller adapter. The camera will be available at select retailers and will be available later this month for $1,499.
