Canon has announced the PowerShot G1 X Mark II and it will retail for $799. The PowerShot G1 X Mark II has enhanced optics, wireless connectivity, a 1.5″ CMOS sensor, 5x zoom lens, NFC support, and a 3″ Full HD touch tilt LCD display.
The sensor in the PowerShot G1 X Mark II is 4.5 times larger compared to a 1/1.7″ sensor. It can deliver an ISO range of 100-12800. The sensor works with the DIGIC 6 Image Processor made up of the Canon HS SYSTEM so there is a faster autofocus speed. There are 31 autofocus points in the PowerShot G1 X Mark II.
If you want to buy one of these, it will cost $799.99 in April.
