Posted Feb 1, 2013

CBS will be using six 4K video cameras for their coverage of Super Bowl XLVII.   This will give viewers a sharp close-up view of the replay.  The first 4K/Ultra HD broadcast is going to take place during the 2014 World Cup.

CBS is going to set up 60-70 cameras for the 110 million viewers to enjoy different angles of the big game.  The six 4K cameras are Heyeper Zoom 4K replay cameras.

The cameras are super-sharp with a 3840 x 2160 resolution and can shoot at between 300-500 frames per second.
