Change Healthcare Raises $15 Million

Based in Tennessee, Change Healthcare is a startup that is focused on cost transparency around the healthcare system.  Change Healthcare has raised $15 million in Series D funding.  The company has raised a total of $32 million.  This round of funding was led by HLM Venture Partners and Noro-Moseley Partners.  Existing institutional investors BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Sandbox Industries, Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc., West Health Investment Fund LLC., and Solidus Co. also participated in this round.

Change Healthcare offers employers with tools for enabling employees and members to cut healthcare costs.  Change Healthcare analyzes historical claims data to help patients compare procedures and services.
