Chili’s restaurants knows that the world is going digital, which is why they are aiming to keep up with the times by putting tablets on the dining tables. Chili’s said this week that they will be putting a tablet on the tables at all 823 of their locations. The 7-inch tablet is being made by Ziosk.
Ziosk designs software that allows patrons to put together their orders, pay bills, and play games. The Chili’s tablet will also have surveys and customer feedback. Chili’s patrons can also enroll in the customer rewards service. The tablets are expected to arrive by the first half of 2014, according to BusinessInsider.
What I would like to see is a karaoke app built into the tablet that plays the tunes while I sing: “I want my baby back, baby back, baby back! Chili’s… baby back ribs!”
