Chirpify Raises $6 Million In Series A Funding

Chirpify is a social commerce company that has raised $6 million in Series A funding, according to TheNextWeb.  Voyager Capital,  Saturn Partners, Provenance Ventures, Idan Ravin, and David Cohen are the investors in this round.  The new funding will be used for expanding the company’s products and help bring their platform to live events.  Chirpify has raised a total of $7.3 million.

Chirpify allows people to buy and sell products through social networks like Twitter and Instagram.  Chirpify is adding around 300 new users per day and it seeing about a 4% conversion rate.  People that look at a tweet or photo make a purchase.  The company is now planning ways to reach a large audience through live events and television.  Chirpify is being used by brands and celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Green Day, and the Portland Trailblazers.
