Christoph Rehage is a very adventurous man. He started walking across China on November 9, 2007 and stopped in October 2008 in a very Forrest Gump-like manner. Rehage traveled over 2,796 miles (4,500 kilometers).
The distance walked between Beijing to Ürümqi was completely on foot. When you see him sitting on a boat or plane was during breaks that he took from walking.
?It was just the way it would be on any normal day. Sometimes you think. Sometimes you don?t. Sometimes you worry about passports, dangers, pains, relatives and loved ones, and at other times your steps are light and you sing songs in the desert. Sometimes it is boring. And sometimes you feel at peace,? said Christoph when he was asked about what he was thinking during the walk.
