Cisco Systems has acquired a cloud management company called SolveDirect. Based in Vienna, Austria, SolveDirect is a company that provides cloud-delivered services management integration software and services.
?SolveDirect?s cloud-based solutions offer enterprises and service providers a flexible way to integrate with service partners and automate sharing of processes, data, and workflows in real-time by eliminating manual practices and bottlenecks, driving significant operational efficiencies,? stated Cisco head of business development Hilton Romanski in a blog post. ?SolveDirect?s capabilities will enable Cisco to extend our portfolio of smart and connected IT services to our global ecosystem of customers, partners, and resellers.?
One of SolveDirect’s flagship products is called the SolveDirect ServiceGrid Self-Service Portal:
SolveDirect will be rolled into Cisco’s Services group and the transaction details were undisclosed. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2013.
