Cloudbees is a service that lets developers accelerate the delivery of mobile and online applications.

Cloudbees’ Java Platform as a Service platform simplifies and accelerates the entire app lifecycle, which makes it easier and faster to build, run, and manage Java apps.

Cloudbees has raised $11.2 million in Series C funding led by Verizon Ventures with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners, Lightspeed Ventures, and Blue Cloud Ventures. Cloudbees has raised a total of $25.7 million since being founded in 2010.

Cloudbees plans to use the funding to drive revenue growth by expanding feature sets and global sales. Cloudbees supports almost all JVM-based languages such as Spring, JRuby, Scala, and Groovy. Cloudbees uses Jenkins to track code changes in SVN and Git repositories.
