CNET founder Halsey Minor is currently the biggest tax delinquent in the state of California according to the WSJ. Between him and his wife, they owe the state about $13.1 million. The next closest tax delinquent owes the state $8 million.
Minor told the WSJ that the reason why he owes so much money is because of “cash-flow issues that stem from moves by a lender to put liens on all his liquid assets.” Those lender moves are believed to be illegal according to Minor which is why he is fighting that issue in court right now.
