Darby Smart receives $6.3 million in Series A funding

Darby Smart is a website that has do-it-yourself projects and supplies that can delivered to a consumer’s door and allows them to recreate the most popular DIY projects on the Internet. Darby Smart has announced a $6.3 million Series A funding round. This round of funding was led by Maveron with participation from Forerunner Ventures, CAA Ventures, and several existing investors.

Darby Smart launched in June 2013 and has seen quarterly revenue increase at an average of 440% over the past three quarters. Darby Smart launched with 10 DIY designers and it now has thousands of designers that are in its community.
