To celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album called “3 Feet High and Rising,” De La Soul is making their whole music catalog available for free as a download on their website. The download started today at 11AM and will go until Saturday at noon EST.

“It’s about allowing our fans who have been looking and trying to get a hold of our music to have access to it,” stated De La Soul member Posdnuos in an interview with Rolling Stone. “It’s been too long where our fans haven’t had access to everything. This is our way of showing them how much we love them.”

The group is working on getting their music on iTunes. De La Soul uses many samples, which has prevented the music for getting on many digital platforms. The group cited frequent personnel changes at record labels and issues with early contracts.
