Dell Is Now Selling The Venue 7 And Venue 8 Tablets

Earlier this month, Dell announced the Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets.  The Android tablets started selling yesterday.  Both of these models have a ship date of October 25th.  They are priced at between $149.99 and $179.99 for the Venue 7 and Venue 8, respectively.


There are several options available for each model with various bundles.  Dell has partnered with Jabra and will be offering each tablet with an option to include a set of Jabra Rhythm earbuds or a Solemate Mini portable Bluetooth speaker, according to Android Community.  The earbuds prices the tablet at $20 higher and the speaker adds $100 to the retail.

Both the Venue 7 and Venue 8 have a display resolution of 1280×800 and both run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.  The tablets also have 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and microSD card.

The Venue 7 has a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ and the Venue 8 has a dual-core 2.0GHz Intel Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+.  The Venue 7 has a VGA quality front-facing camera and 3-megapixel rear-facing camera.  The Venue 8 has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel rear camera.
