Deloitte LLP has acquired almost all of the assets of digital and social media agency Banyan Branch. Banyan Branch specializes in community management, digital creative, and social analytics. The terms of this deal was undisclosed.

Social analytics gives CMOs and business leaders the power to navigate huge amounts of data to identify market influencers,” stated Mike Brinker, the U.S. leader for Deloitte Digital and principal of Deloitte Consulting, LLP. “With Banyan Branch’s strong record of helping brands make sense of it all, we will bring actionable insights to our clients so they can genuinely connect with their audience.”
Banyan Branch will be joining Deloitte Digital, the arm of Deloitte that combines creative services with business and technology sense to design and deliver digital experiences for brands. Through the acquisition, Deloitte Digital will be able to offer clients access to a suite of digital marketing services.
Banyan Branch was founded in 2007 and the three leaders at the company, Alex Garcia, Dave Hanley, and Alicia Hatch, will have leadership roles at Deloitte Digital.
