A few days ago, Digg founder and former CEO Kevin Rose conducted a poll to see how many Digg users want to have the “Bury” button back. The Bury button empowered Digg users to vote down on stories that they do not like. Digg removed this feature after launching the fourth version of Digg.com.
Digg CEO Matt Williams apologized “that we disappointed our Digg community in the process” of rolling out the fourth version of the website. Digg back-tracked on several features of the website, including the Upcoming section, better pagination, and restore all users profiles. There will also be navigation filters and a tool for users to report comment violations.
