Digital Health Company CareCloud Raises $9 Million

CareCloud is a digital healthcare startup that has raised $9 million in funding in additional Series B capital form Adams Street Partners.  Earlier the company announced that they had raised $20 million in Series B funding.  Investors that participated in the Series B round of funding includes Tenaya Capital, Intel Capital, and Norwest Venture Partners.  CareCloud has raised a total of $55 million thus far.

CareCloud launched gives hospitals and healthcare providers access to cloud-based electronic health records software.  CareCloud also offers billing and practice management tools.  CareCloud currently supports 3,500 providers in 46 states.  CareCloud plans on using the funding to boost their investment in R&D, business development, and sales/marketing.

Based in Miami, Florida, CareCloud was founded in 2010.  The company currently manages over $2 billion in annualized accounts receivables on behalf of their clients.
