Divide (a company formerly known as Enterproid) has announced that they have raised $12 million in funding led by Google Ventures. New investors that participated in this round include Globespan Capital Partners and Harmony Partners. Existing investors Comcast Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures also joined.
Divide helps set up a secure environment on the iPhone and Android when dealing with business apps and data. Some of Divide’s customers include IBM, Verizon, and Vodafone.
Through this round of funding, Divide will be scaling their business and signing new large customers. Divide is seeing 10x growth amongst paid corporate licenses, according to VentureBeat. Divide’s free app has been downloaded over 200,000 times.
Divide is currently look at how they can help people move beyond work e-mails and document management. This is the most common use of the platform.
Divide has raised a total of $25 million in funding thus far.
