DNAnexus has raised $15 million in Series C funding from Google, Claremont, TPG, and First Round Capital

DNAnexus is a startup that has raised $15 million in Series C funding led by Google Ventures. Other investors that participated in this round include Claremont Creek Ventures, First Round Capital and TPG Biotech. Nat Goldhaber of Claremont will join the board of directors at DNAnexus. DNAnexus offers online tools for analyzing DNA data.

DNAnexus accelerates basic science and clinical breakthroughs by offering a centralized hub for managing data and collaborating with other scientists. DNAnexus also offers sharing tools and accessing diverse reference datasets, including genotypic and phenotypic data.
