Doodle is a popular online scheduling that is used by individuals and businesses. The founders of Doodle are stepping down that they founded in 2008.
Founders Michael Näf and Paul E. Sevinç are stepping down in the next couple of months and will be replaced by Michael Brecht as new the CEO, effective February 1st.
Doodle also announced that Swiss publisher company Tamedia will fully acquire the company in 2014. Tamedia bought a 49% stake in Doodle in May 2011. German venture capital company Creathor Venture will sell their shares in the company.
Doodle receives around 15 million users per month. The service makes it easy to schedule meetings and take appointments. It is available in a free basic version and sells premium features.
Tamedia will invest in Doodle to power the company’s international growth.
