Dr. Ikhlaq Sidhu is the founding director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (CET) at the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley. Sidhu was just hired as the venture advisor to the Silicon Valley venture capital firm ONSET Ventures.
Before joining UC Berkeley in 2005, he set up the Technology Entrepreneur Center at the University of Illinois. He also worked as the CTO of Cambia Networks and was a VP at 3Com. Sidhu has over 60 patents under his belt as well. Sidhu most recently is the founding chief scientist at UC Berkeley’s Fung Institute.
