Duck Duck Moose Raises $7 Million Series A

Duck Duck Moose is an mobile application company that focuses on building educational games that has raised $7 million in Series A funding.  DDM is known for building interactive games that include stories and music.  DDM consults with teachers and students to make sure that the games exceed expectations.  Some of their games include Draw and Tell, Word Wagon, Blue Bear, and Princess Fairy Tale Maker.  The company’s 14 paid apps have been downloaded 2.4 million times.  This round of funding was led by Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners.  Stanford University also participated in this round.
