On Monday, EMC Corporation announced that they have acquired Aveksa Inc. Aveksa is a leader in business-driven Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Aveksa will be rolled into the RSA security division as part of the RSA Identity Trust Management product group. The terms of the deal was undisclosed.
As a combined company, RSA and Aveksa will be able to offer the ability to automate the complete identity lifecycle of users from a business-driven perspective. Customers will get a unified dashboard to manage, control, and deliver access while enforcing identity and access policies across the cloud and enterprise.

This acquisition is not expected to have an impact to EMC GAAP or non-GAAP EPS for the full 2013 fiscal year.
