Eric Schmidt Says He Will Spend Another Ten Years At Google

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt is stepping down from the CEO position in April, but he will remain as an executive chairman. Schmidt said that he plans to spend another 10 years at Google. As an executive chairman, Schmidt will be focusing on M&A and government outreach. Schmidt said “I’m very personally excited about my next decade at Google” at the DLD media conference in Munich. Schmidt will be receiving a $100 million equity award for running the company since 2001.
