Forbes has reported that Eventbrite has hit $2 billion in gross ticket sales since launching in 2006. This past March, the company hit $1.5 billion, which means that 25% in gross sales took place in the last 6 months. In 2012, the company hit a total of $600 million in gross ticket sales. Based on these figures, Eventbrite made well over 50% of their gross $2 billion sales in the last 21 months since launching 7 years ago. Clearly the company has a lot of momentum right now.

Eventbrite has raised $140 million in funding from investors like T. Rowe Price, Tiger Capital, Jawed Karim (YouTube co-founder), Keith Rabois, Peter Jackson, David Sacks, Ron Conway, and Sequoia Capital.
