Eyefreight raises $11.8 million

Eyefreight is a transportation management software company that has raised ?9 million ($11.8 million) in a funding round that was led by existing investors De Hoge Dennen Capital and Global Cleantech Capital. Eyefreight will be using the funding to expand operations in North America. Eyefreight will be using the funding to enhance their software-as-a-service product and support their demand in North America. The company will be establishing headquarters in Evanston, Illinois.

Eyefreight was one of the fastest growing transportation management software providers in Europe. The company has achieved record sales and has tripled in size since being founded in 2008. Some of their customers include Levi’s, Tata Steel, Campari, and Heineken.
