Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) is catering to small businesses and ad agencies by offering improved tools to reach targeted audiences. Facebook specifically redesigned their ad-buying and ad-reporting tools. The new advertising options will give buyers recommendations for placements based on their set of objectives. Facebook is also offering improved analytics to measure the results.
Facebook’s Ad Manager tool has been updated to show the results directly based on the chosen advertising objectives set up by the marketers.
Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) is calling this objective-based buying and reporting of advertisements. “We’re making these updates so marketers can focus on what matters to them most: driving results for their business,” said Facebook in a blog post.
Ad buyers want to see clicks to websites, website conversions, page post engagement, app installs, app engagement, responses to in-store offers, and event responses. Facebook places ads where they believe is the best place, but markets will now be able to choose where they want the ads to appear.
