Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) reported its Q1 2014 results today. Facebook revealed that it now has over 1.28 billion monthly active users and over 1 billion monthly active mobile users.
In January 2014, Facebook said it had 945 million mobile active users during Q4 2013. One quarter before that, Facebook was at 680 million mobile users.
In terms of revenue, Facebook said it hit $2.5 billion and an EPS of 34 cents. In the same quarter a year ago, Facebook reported $1.45 billion in revenue and an EPS of 9 cents per share. Facebook now makes $5.18 in annual advertising revenue per user.
Analysts were expecting a 24 cent profit per share on $2.4 billion in revenues. Facebook’s mobile ad revenues really helped the social network giant beat Wall Street expectations!
