Facebook will be rolling out the Timeline profile pages to brands this month according to sources with AdAge.com. The Timeline feature was announced this past September and it is currently being pushed to all 800 million of their users. The Timeline feature has a scrapbook-like user interface.
Facebook VP of Marketing and Business Partnerships David Fischer said that Timeline for businesses will be consistent with user profiles, but will not be a carbon copy. The new Timelines for brands will be in beta for a handful of partners initially.
The new feature Timeline for brands is expected to be officially announced at the first-ever fMC event on February 29th, which is a day-long conference in New York.
