Facebook’s mobile ads are doing very well for Facebook compared to desktop ads. According to data from TBG Digital, the click-through-rate of ads served on mobile devices was 1.14% versus the 0.588% that was clicked through on the desktop. TBG Digital analyzed 278,389,453 ad impressions. Facebook even earns more per click too. They earn $0.86 on mobile devices compared to $0.63 on the desktop. Facebook is working on expanding their mobile ads to include location-based ads.
