The company was founded by a hacker that turned into a security consultant named Kevin Mitnick. FireHost plans to use the funding to increase their marketing.

Some of the customers that FireHost works with include Wal-Mart, Casio, Rush Limbaugh, The Clinton Foundation, and David Copperfield. Based in Dallas, FireHost has cloud servers across the world. The company has been hit with over 1 million block attempts and there has been zero breaches.
